The Story
There’s a moment right before night, when the sky is still warm and the city hasn’t decided if it belongs to day or to evening. That’s where La Luz del Horizonte ("The Light of the Horizon") lives.
We selected this rich Tobacco-Brown leather for its architectural versatility—it is warmer than black but deeper than tan. The cream and ivory embroidery provides a soft, illuminated contrast, like sunlight fading on sandstone. She moves through rooftops and quiet streets like she’s already claimed them. This boot isn’t an accessory; it’s presence.
Last light. Steady spine.
Design Inspiration
Rooftop heat after sunset. Sandstone arches. A woman in motion who ownership of her itinerary. La Luz del Horizonte is warm authority — romance and discipline in one sharp silhouette.
Design Notes
Materials
- Upper: Full-grain Tobacco-Brown cowhide. A rich, burnished tone that pairs perfectly with denim, white linen, or black silk.
- Embroidery: Understated floral scrollwork in Cream & Ivory thread, creating a soft textural contrast against the deep hide.
- Lining: Supple natural calfskin for breathable comfort across changing climates.
- Sole: Genuine leather outsole with traditional hand-stitched welt and polished natural edge.
- Heel: ~1.75" stacked leather western heel, engineered for a grounded lift.
Signature Details
- The Shaft: 12" height with controlled, heirloom-style stitchwork — feminine without shouting.
- The Toe: Refined Snip Toe to elongate the leg and photograph like sculpture.
- The Finish: Soft matte-satin surface that will develop a lived-in patina, recording your own history.
Wearing Experience
- Fit: Crafted on an atelier-specific last designed for a refined silhouette. Most clients take their usual US size. If you are between sizes or prefer a relaxed fit, we recommend sizing up by half.
- Break-in: Structured to hold its line; the tobacco hide softens naturally after 1–2 wears as the boot settles to your stride.
- Care: Dust with a horsehair brush after wear. Condition sparingly with neutral leather cream to maintain the depth of the tobacco tone; avoid saturating the light threads.
